Matching Climate to biological scales
We had a perspective published in Trends in Ecology and Evolution published this spring, which outlines how ecologists and evolutionary biologists should think about designing research questions and studies that better capture how organisms experience climate:
And a nice touch: we made it onto the cover of TREE’s April 2026 issue! Featuring one of my favorite lizard species: Phelsuma klemmeri, the neon day gecko of Madagascar. Gorgeous lil’ guys.
The paper was covered by Yale’s Peabody Museum and Institute for Biospheric Studies, and also covered by Rutgers. Popular science outlets Phys.org and Meridia picked it up too.
